A distinctive feature is the ability to hold up to nine boarding passes for groups or families under a single booking, though this functionality does not currently support bookings that include infants.

Flight Management and Check-in

The app allows you to actively manage your flight details. This includes the flexibility to change your assigned seat, add extra baggage to your booking, and adjust your meal selections. For convenience, you can check in for your flight online from anywhere, using the app’s digital boarding pass. This pass can then be scanned at airport kiosks to print bag tags, used for boarding the aircraft, and grants access to Air New Zealand lounges for eligible travelers.

Stay informed with up-to-the-minute flight details delivered directly to your device. The app provides real-time updates on gate and seat assignments, boarding times, and departure schedules. Furthermore, you will receive notifications with key flight information, ensuring you are always aware of any important changes or updates related to your journey.

Group Travel and Boarding Passes

For those traveling with family or a group, the app supports holding up to nine digital boarding passes under the same booking. This streamlines the check-in and boarding process for multiple travelers. However, it’s important to note that bookings that include infants are not currently supported by this feature.

Lounge Services and Travel Planning

If you have Air New Zealand lounge access, the app offers the convenience of ordering coffee directly from your phone, with a notification sent when it’s ready for collection. Beyond this, the app serves as a portal for purchasing various travel-related services. This includes options such as travel insurance, airport parking, taxi and shuttle services, hotel accommodations, and rental car bookings, helping you organize your trip logistics. You can also quickly add flight details to your personal calendar and share them with others to keep everyone informed.

Airpoints and Koru Membership Management

The app provides comprehensive tools for managing your Airpoints Dollars™ and Status Points balances. You can view your current benefits, review your latest activity, and access your digital Airpoints™ card directly from your phone. Additionally, the app helps you locate Airpoints Partners, enabling you to earn Airpoints Dollars on everyday purchases. For Koru members, the app also facilitates access and use of your digital Koru card.
